Chief Minister extends hearty greetings of Indepence Day to people of the state
Raipur, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extend hearty greetings and wishes of Independence Day to people of the state. Mr. Baghel said in his message that Independence Day is the day of commemorating the contribution of great freedom fighters. We should take inspiration from the sacrifices of freedom fighters and pledge to turn their dreams and visions into reality.
Chief Minister said that great personalities of Chhattisgarh had also actively participated in the freedom movement. It is important that upcoming generation gets to learn about the contribution of these great figures, so that they may take pride in the valour and courage of their ancestors.
Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh Government is making consistent efforts to develop the state as per the visions of our brave freedom fighters. To empower the rural economy, Chhattisgarh Government has started Suraaji Gaon Yojana for conservation of Narva, Garva, Ghurva, Bari. This scheme will strengthen the rural economy and agricultural sector. Honouring the sentiments of localites, festivals such as Hareli, Teej, Chhath, Mata Karma Jayanti and International Day of World’s Indigenous People have been declared as general holidays for the state.
Chief Minister said that State Government has started many schemes for betterment of each and every section of the society, especially farmers, and weaker sections of the society. Chief Minister appealed people to support and contribute in making Chhattisgarh a prosperous and developed state.
